Christian Counseling
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
— Psalm 147:3
Where Faith, Healing & Biblical Truth Come Together
For individuals, couples, and families whose Christian faith is an important part of their lives, Grace Wellness Institute provides compassionate support that intentionally integrates biblical principles, Scripture, prayer, faith, and practical guidance into the counseling process. Christian counseling offers a supportive space to address emotional, relational, and spiritual concerns while honoring your beliefs and keeping biblical truth at the center of the journey.
Whether you are navigating a difficult season, working through past hurt, strengthening a relationship, rebuilding after loss, or seeking greater clarity and purpose, your faith can be an important part of the process.
You Don’t Have to Separate Your Faith From Your Healing
Your emotional health, relationships, life experiences, and spiritual life are deeply connected. Christian counseling gives you a place to talk honestly about what you are carrying while receiving support that respects the beliefs and values that matter to you.
Sessions may provide support for:
Grief & Loss • Trauma Recovery • Anxiety & Stress Relationships • Marriage
Family Conflict Forgiveness • Boundaries • Self-Worth • Identity • Life Transitions
Spiritual Struggles • Purpose • Personal Growth
The goal is to create a compassionate space where you can feel heard, explore what you are experiencing, strengthen practical coping and communication skills, and consider your circumstances through the lens of your Christian values and beliefs.
Your faith is not treated as separate from your emotional well-being. When faith is important to you, it can become a meaningful part of understanding your experiences, making decisions, strengthening relationships, and moving forward with greater clarity, hope, and purpose.
Support That Meets You Spiritually, Emotionally & Practically
Every person's needs and faith journey are different. Depending on your goals and comfort level, sessions may incorporate:
Scripture • Prayer • Biblical Reflection • Christian Principles • Encouragement • Practical Coping Strategies • Communication Skills • Healthy Boundaries • Forgiveness Work • Faith-Based Goal Setting
Christian counseling is not about having all the answers or being judged for where you are in your faith. It is a space to explore life's challenges while receiving compassionate support that respects and honors your Christian beliefs.
That last paragraph is important. It makes the service feel welcoming to Christians who may be struggling spiritually and worried that they will be judged.
How Christian Counseling Works
You will not be rushed into telling your story, fixing a relationship, or making a decision before you feel heard and understood.
A private space to exhale, be honest, and begin sorting through what you have been carrying.
Individual sessions provide a private space to talk openly about what you are experiencing while receiving support that honors your faith. Sessions may address emotional wellness, grief, trauma recovery, relationships, stress, boundaries, self-esteem, forgiveness, life transitions, spiritual concerns, personal growth, or simply the need for a supportive space to gain clarity and move forward. Biblical principles, Scripture, prayer, and faith-based reflection may be incorporated based on your needs and comfort level.
Individual Christian Counseling
Before asking two people to hear each other, we first make space for each person to be heard.
Healthy relationship work begins by making sure both people have an opportunity to be heard.
Couples services typically begin with one to two individual sessions for each partner before joint sessions begin. These private sessions give each person an opportunity to share their experiences, concerns, needs, hurts, and hopes for the relationship without feeling pressured, interrupted, judged, or afraid of triggering conflict with their partner. This individual time also helps us better understand each person's perspective, identify communication patterns and areas of misunderstanding, and prepare both partners for more productive conversations together.
Once the individual sessions are completed, joint sessions may focus on:
Communication • Conflict Resolution • Rebuilding Trust • Forgiveness • Emotional Connection • Healthy Boundaries • Relationship Transitions • Shared Values • Faith • Moving Forward Together
The purpose is not to determine who is right or wrong. The goal is to help both partners feel heard and supported while creating healthier patterns of communication, connection, and understanding.
Christian Couples Counseling
When a family is hurting, everyone may be experiencing the same situation very differently. Family relationships can become especially difficult when there has been hurt, conflict, misunderstanding, major life changes, or breakdowns in communication.
Before bringing everyone together, participating family members begin with individual preparation sessions so each person has an opportunity to share their experience, concerns, and needs privately.
Meeting individually first can also reduce defensiveness and interruptions and helps identify unresolved hurt, communication challenges, and areas where family members may be experiencing the same situation very differently.
Once individual sessions are completed, family members come together for facilitated sessions focused on:
Communication • Mediation • Understanding Different Perspectives • Healthy Boundaries • Conflict Resolution • Rebuilding Trust • Strengthening Family Relationships • Forgiveness • Healing
The purpose is not to assign blame. It is to create a structured space where family members can communicate more effectively and begin working toward healthier relationships while honoring their Christian values.
Christian Family Support & Mediation
My Story. My Why.
My faith journey has been shaped by both deep struggle and deep grace.
I have lived through trauma, abuse, abandonment, family disruption, disappointment, near-death experiences, and seasons that forced me to confront my own pain and do the difficult work of healing. There were times when my faith was strong, and there were times when I questioned God, drifted away, and wondered how I would find my way back. But somehow, I always did.
Some of the earliest seeds of my faith were planted by my grandmother. When I was around six years old, I experienced a near-death medical crisis and lost my ability to speak for several weeks. She cared for me, gave me a small bell to ring when I needed her, and sat beside my bed reading Scripture.
I could not speak, but I could hear.
At the time, I did not understand what those moments would mean to me later. Today, I believe she was planting seeds of faith, hope, and resilience that would continue growing throughout my life into my future..
Proverbs 22:6says, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Now, as a mother and grandmother, I understand that Scripture differently. I hope the seeds I plant in my own family will remain with them through every season, just as my grandmother’s words remained with me.
My journey has taught me that faith does not make us immune to pain. We can love God and still struggle. We can believe and still have questions. We can pray and still need support.
John 16:33 reminds us, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
I believe people deserve a safe place to be honest about all of it without judgment, shame, or pressure to pretend they are okay.
My own healing required more than simply pushing through. I had to acknowledge wounds, grieve losses, understand patterns, establish boundaries, rebuild trust, and learn how to move forward differently. Those experiences are part of why I am committed to providing compassionate, trauma-informed mental health care that honors both emotional and spiritual well-being.
One part of my story feels especially significant to me.
As a little girl, I lost my voice.
Today, my life’s work requires me to use it.
Genesis 50:20 says, “You meant evil against me; but God meant it for good.”
Today I use my voice to counsel, advocate, educate, respond to crisis, support families, create safety, and bring hope into some of the most difficult moments of people’s lives.
The little girl who once could not speak grew into a woman whose calling requires her to use her voice.
And today, I get to use that voice to help other people find theirs.
That is why I will never judge someone for struggling with their faith, their mental health, their relationships, or their story. Spiritual health and mental health are connected, and both deserve compassion, honesty, and care.
You do not have to have perfect faith here. You do not have to hide your questions. You do not have to pretend to be strong.
You deserve a place where your story can be heard, your faith can be honored, and your healing can be supported with compassion.
Healing is possible through GRACE.
Even when I could not see what was ahead, I had to learn that God still had the final say over my life. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
There were seasons when my circumstances did not look hopeful, but I have learned that a difficult chapter does not mean the story is over. Pain does not get the final word. Trauma does not get the final word. Disappointment does not get the final word.
God does.
Your story matters. Your faith matters. And where you are today does not have to determine where your story ends.
Healing is possible through GRACE.

Visionary Consulting
“Write the vision and make it plain” habakkuk 2:2:3
Turning God-Given Vision Into Strategy
Sometimes the vision God gives you is bigger than a ministry, a business, or a single idea. It may be something you are called to carry into the marketplace.
Visionary Consulting helps you take what has been placed on your heart and turn it into a clear, organized, actionable strategy. Whether you are building a business, launching a ministry, developing a program, expanding your professional brand, or creating something that serves others, we help you move from vision to structure.
Your faith does not have to be separated from your professional goals. Ministry can exist beyond the walls of a church. It can show up through leadership, entrepreneurship, service, innovation, advocacy, education, and the way you impact people in the marketplace.
Support may include clarifying your vision, identifying next steps, business and ministry strategy, branding direction, professional positioning, website planning, leadership development, program development, and creating practical systems around your goals.
You bring the vision. Together, we turn it into clear strategy, practical structure, and purposeful action.
This is a space where vision, faith, strategy, purpose, and practical business guidance come together so you can move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
You Don’t Have to Navigate This Season Alone
If your faith is an important part of how you understand your life, relationships, healing, and future, you deserve support that honors that part of you.
Whether you are coming individually, as a couple, or as a family, you will have a compassionate space to be heard, gain clarity, strengthen relationships, and begin identifying practical next steps while keeping your Christian beliefs at the heart of the process.
